California American staff and contractors will be visiting approximately 150 homes to deliver information about the construction project. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please direct media inquiries to Evan Jacobs at (707) 495-6135 and customer inquiries to Chris Rich (916) 206-2721.

California earthquake does not interrupt California American Water service - July 29, 2008.

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake, centered in Chino Hills, CA, struck the Southland at 11:42 am. Chino Hills is about 25 miles from Duarte, California American Water’s nearest water utility. After SCADA analysis and initial surveys, all local operations appear to be unaffected by the quake.
